Literature Text

Till this day, I'm still unsure as to why the stars chose to connect us. But, in the end I'm happy that they did... because if they didn't then we wouldn't be here now. Just to think, everything that's happened to me in the past had a reason.

Up until now... I didn't understand it, even now it's still kind of confusing. Yet I'm content with myself and with the way things are going right now. I'm overjoyed to know that each day I return to my dorm... that he'll be there waiting for me.

Waiting for me each day after school and after practice, sitting there on his bed without a care in the world is the person that I would soon come to love. The loving spit fire that would light up the night with just a few words, and his liquid silver gaze would sent small little shocks through my spine.

Almost suffocating, this feeling threatened to over take me but, in the end I somehow managed to figure it out. In a world where he cannot see colors... I hope that I will always be by his side.

To show him the colors that he cannot seem to see.

"Ah... sorry for the intrusion but I was told that I would be staying in this room..." my voice trailed off, loosing the ability to talk once two piercing silver orbs held my own golden one's captive. Those silver orbs showed nothing, no emotions not even a reaction to my suddenly walking into the room.

I felt my breath catch in my throat, unable to breath it felt as if my tongue was even trying to run away. My mouth started to turn into a desert, the hairs on my neck stood on end while my bottom lip slowly retreated into my mouth.

Biting my lower lip, the person on the bed stood up, placing their book to the side while their long hair falling freely around their shoulders. Hiding the person's face, nimble feminine fingers reached for what looked like a worn hair tie.

Pulling back their hair, I couldn't help but stare in wonder. This person had what looked to be a heart shaped face, defined by high cheek bones adding to the persons feminine features and a soft jaw line. Those piercing silver orbs when opened could strike fear into one's very soul. Keeping their moth closed in a thin line, almost straight line, and their hair- naturally long lush red hair was being pulled back into a small hair tie.

Once the person had pulled their hair back I found myself staring with my mouth wide open. Quickly shutting my mouth, the person soon stood before me a foot or so shorter than me. Taking the paper that I held in my now shaky hand I felt my body go rigid.

Those silver orbs no longer watching me, now gazed at the paper. Reading the words written on the white piece of parchment earlier by the head of this all boys academy. With a slight chuckle the person handed the paper back to me, scrambling to catch it.

Those silver orbs focused on me once again, a small smirk started to form on those once straight lined lips. "So, you're going to be my new roommate?" nodding my head yes, I realized that this person was a boy, at least I now have something else to call him instead of 'person' or 'their' now.

"Well, you've made it to the right place this is my side of the room," momentarily the boy paused pointing to the bed that he was laying on earlier, "And that will be your side of the room. Please at least try to keep the room clean."

With that the boy returned to his bed, picking up the book once more and started to read it again. Sighing, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders, clutching my bag I set it down on the floor next to what I guess will become my side of the room.

Tidy, well kept, and a little bit empty was my only way to describe this room. Pulling out a set of pajamas, shampoo a towel and a few other things that one would need for a shower. I turned to my room mate and decided to at least tell him where I was going.

"Hey, I'm going to take a shower... I'll be back in a few minuets." paying no attention to what I'd just said, I sighed before standing up and walking outside the room towards the showers.

Turning the knob I walked underneath the warm spray of water, deciding that upon returning to the room I would at least try to play twenty questions with my room mate.

The guy is a little too mysterious... I think it would be good if we were to at least learn one another's names before the night ended.

-

Turning the knob, my towel draped around my neck to catch any left over bit water still drying hair that tried to wet my pajamas. "Hey, I'm back." I said aloud, earning a small groan from the inhabitant inside the room.

The boy sat there, cross-legged on the floor with a large poster board and a what looked to be a pen in his mouth. "Stop standing there and close the door, you're letting all of the warm air out."

Closing the door, I somehow managed to crab walk around him and reach my bed after learning that the only sources of light were from the two small lamps on mine and the boy's side of the room. Looking at him I asked, "So... what's your name?" looking up at me once again, the boy showed no emotion (again).

"Silver... and yours is Gold." Silver proceeded to pick up the large poster board, and put it away along with the pen. Watching his every movement, I could tell that he wasn't in the best of moods.

I decided against playing twenty questions tonight and opted just to tell him about my morning schedule.

"Well, Silver. Now that we know one another's names I think it'll be good to tell you that I'll be waking up in the morning to go to track practice," Silver simply sat there and stared at me, his gaze a bit unnerving swallowing a lump that had formed in my throat I continued to speak.

"And well I wanted to know if my waking up would be a bother to you I mean... I was told that you are in the culinary and arts category of this school so I just wanted to make sure that it was okay with you if I could wake up early. If not... then I could request a room change so I will not disturb you."

God, I think I just made a fool of myself. Silver probably thinks I'm an idiot, a hopeless headcase. What the hell am I doing asking him if it's okay to wake up early?! I have to! Or I'll be kicked off the team!!

A small chuckle almost went unnoticed, Silver sat there on his bed the book that he was reading earlier in his hands once more. Setting the book to the side he looked towards me, those silver orbs causing my mouth to go dry once more.

"No, you're waking up that early will not disturb me at all. So long as you're doing something that you love doing the person that you are temporarily living with should learn do deal with it."

I was speechless, Silver had just told me that it was okay, that my waking up early wouldn't disturb him. Smiling, I pulled the cover's from over my bed, fluffing the pillow up a bit facing Silver sending him a small lops sided grin I mumbled.

"Thank's and... good night Silver." with that I turned my lamp off, Silver's lamp being the only one to illuminate the room for a few more minuets. I waited to see if Silver would turn his lamp off, but alas I fell asleep before I managed to know if he was going to sleep as well.

Living with Silver... might not be so bad after all.
YES!! I've finally managed to type this idea up~ yeah!! Sorry if Silver seems a bit OOC, I based his personality off a roommate that I had living with me for a little while, she acted almost exactly like Silver. It was kind of scary, but she opened up after the second week of living with me, a bit OCD and hard to understand but she was an okay person, managed to get her to play a little bit of Pokemon, which turned out not to be her cup of tea. xD

I do hope that you enjoyed reading this, I hope that you all enjoyed reading it. I apologize for my mistakes and grammatical errors.

I own nothing... -3-
