Chapter Six

Watching the puffer fish with minor interest you mimicked the small greenish yellow creature by puffing your cheeks out. Which seemed to anger the small puffer fish even more, giggling you heard a small clattering noise from the kitchen, and what sounded like China cursing himself silently.

"Ahhhh! You people picked bad country to take (y/n) in for the time being! It's hard to cook for this country!"

China grumbled while picking up a few metal trays, watching China's attempt to still talk on the person on the other end of the conversation. "Ah!! England, I didn't mean to make myself sound like that asshole America. But your doing a good job of if you ass!" a short pause you could hear China tapping his foot on the tiled floor in his kitchen, "Ah... we all love (y/n)... she's different  unique but she's just to difficult to cook for is all that I'm trying to say!"

China proceeded to cut up a few fruit that you could name off the top of your head. Apples, strawberries, bananas, mango, and pears. The Representation also tossed in a few whole fruit as well, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and grapes.

"Ah, really the only think that I know she will eat without much of a fight is fruit, vegetables, candy and a few random dishes that I've never cooked before. All of it being Russian dishes, ah... looks like I might have to read some sort of Russian type dish to make her happy." China became silent, a small laugh filled the room but it sounded far away.

You guessed that it was England... then again, bushy brows never really did much laughing.

Most of the conversations you'd seen him have with America involved yelling and he had the nerve to call himself a gentleman. Well, not that he wasn't but... gentlemen were supposed to be nice to both women and men right?

You were pulled out of your thoughts when you heard a glass plate drop. Peering into the kitchen you noticed that a glass bowl full of fruit now laid shattered on the tiled floor. China standing there with a shocked look on his face, his hand shaking while he spoke with an equally shaky voice.

"Y-you managed to  get that out of Russia...? No wonder he was so hesitant to tell us about (y/n), this information is slightly disturbing... who would so something like this to a child  like her?"

What did England get Russia to tell him... what's wrong with you? Why is China panicking?! The kitchen was silent, the air seemed heavy unable to breath you slowly made your way to the front door. Your ears ringing, covering them with your hands you barely managed to catch what China had said about you.

The reason why you were so different, the reason why Russia was so hesitant to take you to all of the World Meetings. This... this explains all of it. Why you couldn't tell Russia what part of his country that you were, why the other Countries would give you funny looks.

Falling down onto your knees, the ringing in your ears becoming louder and louder. Your eyes falling onto the silver bracelet on your name etched into it's metallic surface.

Tears burning behind your eyelids, China's words still floating around in your mind you tried to ignore it. You tried to stop the tears that escaped.

The bracelet felt as if it was burning your wrist, sliding it off you threw it in a different direction. China's worried voice reaching your ears, turning to face him the world seemed to spin.

'You mean... (y/n) is not a country? She's... a humans attempt at making a human into a man made country?'

Lights seemed to flash behind your eyes, falling down onto the ground you couldn't help but allow the tears to start flowing freely. China cradling you close to him, running back towards his home screaming God knows what into his cell phone. You couldn't help but image as if Russia was the one carrying you, the man whom knew full and well that you were not a country.

Treating you as his equal, taking care of you, and reveling the secret about the world meeting to you... but why? Why was he being so kind to you?

Everyone in Russia's home treating you like a fool...

You're nothing but some human's pet project, a science experiment that would end in failure. Biting your bottom lip, you decided that you were nothing better... than a man made monster.

...

"Don't give up..." opening your eyes you looked into the violet crimson swirled eyes of the little boy from all of those dreams before. A smile on his face while he held your hand in his own, blinking unsure of what to do the boy smiled his small form fading into the white light that wrapped itself around you.

Smiling you stood up on your own two feet, a long path standing before you. A small smile on your face you mumbled.

"Well... the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

And who knows, maybe one of those steps will tell you whom you really are, and why you were made into a 'monster'.
Sorry for the wacky updating I've been doing, I do hope that all of you enjoyed this chapter!! I hope that you will all stick with me a little bit longer for me to post the final chapters.
